Residential

1603

This home was built in 1968, traditionally for that time there were two living spaces, which created a main living area and a formal living area. We took out the wall that divided the two living rooms and added a support beam down the center of the two rooms. We were then able to gable the side of the living room to match the side that was already gabled and made one large living room. After that was complete and the sheet rock placed, I had our carpenter create a faux wooden beam to hide the support beam.

I had the bar extended to create a partial oval shape to maximize the surface area and kept the bar counter top height to maximize the surface. I also had pendant lighting installed  over the bar and the sink as well as under cabinet lighting.

We replaced all carpet, painted, sheet rocked and re-tiled all areas of the house, resurfaced the guest bathroom cabinets, replaced the tile and then of course finished by decorating.
