Decorative Makeovers:

Sometimes all it takes is a little paint and the right decor to bring life back to your space.  On average our style preferences change every 5 years.  When decorating a space it is important to think long term.  One important aspect we consider when doing room makeovers is "what decorative accessories can we use to update the room without costing you a lot to update now or later." Purchasing just the right items will not only save you money and time now but  also allows you to feel freedom long term knowing that you are not "stuck" if your preferences change. We feel that this allows you to fully enjoy your updated space. Our goal with this service to to provide you with a space that accurately represents you and your personal style. A space you are proud of.  

 

The initial consultation:

 

At our initial meeting we will take a look at the space and or spaces you are interested in decorating or redecorating and discuss your ideas and goals for the space. Once I have a feel for what you want, I will spend time gathering ideas and put together a few idea boards for you.  It is crucial that I get a feel for your specific style. In order to do so I will most likely set another meeting with you and present the items and ideas to ensure that I am on the right track.

 

There is no pressure to purchase any items presented to you at this meeting, this is just a chance to get to know one another a little more and for you to share with me other ideas that come to mind.  If at the end of our meeting you are as excited as I am about your project, we will discuss your budget and then I will get to work. I will be as involved as you would like for me to be and I will allow you to do the same. If you enjoy the hunt and would like to send me items you come across you are more than welcome to. If you would rather I do most of the leg work for you, sit back, relax and I will take care of the brunt of the work for you.

I have planned and executed several interior projects long distance and have had great success doing so. This is a service that we offer and the process is very similar to our in home decorating service. Please contact me to find out more information about this service.

 

What to Expect in the Days/Months to Come:

The easiest and quickest way for me to communicate with you is via text and e-mail. I will do as much of the leg work for you as possible which requires me taking on the scouting for you. I will be visiting numerous stores, checking online inventories and will be sending you pictures along with item pricing.  I will create a PINTEREST board for you so that you can easily access websites, color swatches, materials and ordering information and access all item selections and idea boards at anytime.

 

Once I get the "OK" from you I will either send you a link so that you can purchase selections, reserve the item(s) for you and send you the information on where to order or pickup or I will pick up the item(s) for you. This stage in the design process will depend on what your needs are and what your price point is. 

When all items have arrived, I will decorate and stage for you. If we are working long distance, I will create a detailed list and pictures of the placement of selections to make sure you know where and how to hang and place your items.
